I wanted to do something fun for Halloween this year and this was the result! At the start I was going to be even more ambitious than this and do every nail different, but it was late when I started and I hadn’t got the other designs down properly, so I went with this instead!
I start a new temp job on Monday and I wanted something sedate but still trendy. So I found this tutorial by myawesomebeauty and gave it a whirl. Have to say, turned out pretty neat!
This is the first nail art I’ve done that I actually like lately. Everything else I’ve tried in the last few weeks just hasn’t seemed worthy enough. But this one? This one I’m loving the hell out of right now! When I do it again, though, I’m going to use two different colours, because these two aren’t bright enough for me :D
You would not believe how long it’s taken me to do these! I had the idea for this on the day of the Opening Ceremony, but I messed it up and had to re-start. Then the white when all crappy and.. Urgh. ANYWAY, here’s the finished product! \o/
So freaking happy about how this one turned out!! :D first time I’ve tried flowers like these - I think it would have been better with acrylics (keep meaning to invest in a set) but I managed with while nail polish just fine. Dominant hand is, as always, crappier, but practice makes perfect and all that jazz ;P
I saw this post by polished-mi and I loved it so much that I just had to try it out myself. Have to say, don’t think I did too badly, considering I had to line it free hand and I’m not that great at freehand things yet. And it’s definitely no-where near as good as the original, but as a first try? I’d say it’s pretty damn sweet :P
After many attempts at using nail striping tape, this is one of the designs that I’m actually proud of. It’s still a little rough around the edges, but hopefully with practice I’ll get it perfect :)
Inspiration taken from this video by LiverpoolLashes on YouTube. I think she might have used the Konad system for hers, but I improvised with a dotting tool.
