Simple Yellow French
Tried doing something more complicated and nothing looked good, so I went for cute and simple instead.

Blue and Orange Dotty Ombre
The Olympics are coming to a close so I took my flags off this morning (*sob*). Didn’t want naked fingernails, so I played around and came up with this. Loosely inspired by Madeline Poole’s nails for American Apparel.
Vintage Polka
Had nails done again, so we’re back to shorties :) Wanted to do something simple and pretty!
Colours: Maybelline Forever Strong Pro 630 “Dark Denim” and 130 “Rose Poudre”
Pretty In Pink
My second time doing a gradient, this time with just two colours. I love the way it turned out!
Colours: Light pink is Barry M “Strawberry Ice Cream”, dark pink is No 17 Super Shine “Love”
Interconnecting Dots
I’m going to see Queen + Adam Lambert in London on Thursday (I AM EXCITE, YO) and I needed something that would go with my outfit. So I rummaged around in my Box of Tricks(TM) and found two colours that matched my jeans and my top; the turquiose colour is Rimmel’s 825 “Sky High” and the purple is Barry M’s 303 “Bright Purple”
Then I found s-lacquer’s tutorial on Interlocking Dots on my dashboard and I knew exactly what to do! And this is the result! Next time I’ll be more careful with the size of the dots, but I was working quickly tonight so they came out all sizes.
Autumnal Flowers
So freaking happy about how this one turned out!! :D first time I’ve tried flowers like these - I think it would have been better with acrylics (keep meaning to invest in a set) but I managed with while nail polish just fine. Dominant hand is, as always, crappier, but practice makes perfect and all that jazz ;P
Dots and Flicks on Pink
I’ve had this polish on my toes for a couple of weeks and I wanted to try it on my fingernails. I did initially have a different design in mind for this one, but it didn’t quite work out :( So I did something simple instead!
Half Moon Dots
I saw this post by polished-mi and I loved it so much that I just had to try it out myself. Have to say, don’t think I did too badly, considering I had to line it free hand and I’m not that great at freehand things yet. And it’s definitely no-where near as good as the original, but as a first try? I’d say it’s pretty damn sweet :P
Inspired by SweetieCakeX’s YouTube tutorial using silver instead of black because my purple is a lot darker than the one used on the tut :)
Colours Used: Rimmel “Pompous”, Orly “White Out”, 2Mad Nail Striper in “Silver Shimmer”
Inspiration taken from this video by LiverpoolLashes on YouTube. I think she might have used the Konad system for hers, but I improvised with a dotting tool.
Colours: Orly “White Out”, No 17 Supreme Shine “Love”
